I don’t photograph a lot of babies, but when an old client comes in with their new grandbaby and some great ideas of what they like, it can be a fun challenge. After being a full-time photographer for 30 years I pretty much know how to shoot just about anything and I know babies like a warm and soft environment so I turned up the heat and put her on a pre-warmed soft fuzzy blanket. I also used the biggest, softest studio light I have to give it that big warm window light feel.
