Morning Drone Video Over Central Coast, Morro Bay
As a Central Coast Drone Pilot, I love mornings at Morro Beach! The Central Coast air is calm, which is perfect for flying my drone. The beaches are empty and the light is gorgeous. Consequently, the look of the waves and water from the sky is mesmerizing to me. This video was shot after the big 2018 March rains. Because of this, the sand has a unique look to it and the piles of driftwood that line the shore create a unique texture to the beach.
Even though the surf was small, I happen to find a couple of surfers catching some morning waves. I used to be afraid of flying out over the water. Now, after more than two years of stick time and becoming an FAA Certified Remote Drone Pilot, it’s now a thrill. As a Central Coast Certified Drone Pilot, I will definitely go back to this spot when the waves are bigger, to get some more 4K footage.
