San Luis Obispo Architectural Photographer, Dennis Swanson, gets his photography published in Architecture of the Central Coast. This book is a collection of projects from award-winning architects of the County of San Luis Obispo. In partnership with Andrew Goodwin Designs, and brought to you by the support of Above Grade Engineering, the American Institute of Architects, California Central Coast Chapter has released a 235-page book of the award-winning projects from the AIA CCC from the past two years. This publication honors the architecture and construction of the Central Coast and a helps the AIA CCC scholarship fund.

Butler Hotel & Airstream, San Luis Obispo
The Butler Hotel and Airstream project was designed by George Garcia of Garcia Architecture + Design. Garcia works with Studio 101 West, on many of his projects. He understands that a professional architectural photographer can make or break award winning status.
After sitting vacant for year, a local architect saw the potential that lay hidden within the shell of an abandoned, ivy-covered metal and steel building. Looking for an alternative hotel experience to offer his out-of-town clients and colleagues, he envisioned a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience that lay at the intersection of technology, design, and luxury. By repurposing yet respecting the existing industrial structure, this new hotel offering creates a unique visitor experience unlike any other on California’s Central Coast. — Architecture of the Central Coast

Rosetta, San Luis Obispo
Rosetta was also designed by George Garcia of Garcia Architecture + Design and built by another of our clients, JW Design & Construction. JW Design & Construction exclusively uses Studio 101 West Photography as their architectural photographer. Dennis shoots from a growing list of central coast building projects for JW Design. They use our photography for new bids, website, and recording construction progress.
When a local digital start-up company became the subject of a national acquisition, followed immediately by a larger international merger, this young and growing agency was suddenly faced with the prospect of loosing the individualism and identity that contributed to their early success. Confronted with the reality of relinquishing its vibrant California Central Coast culture, a pitch was made to develop a West Coast presence that would not just retain existing staff, but serve to cultivate a new creative and dynamic work environment designed to attract regional and global talent. — Architecture of the Central Coast

Corralitos Residence, San Luis Obispo
The Corralitos Residence remodel was designed by Studio 2G Architects. We love this house. Clean lines, perfect details and a pleasure to photograph!
Located in a northeastern neighborhood in San Luis Obispo, the Corralitos Residence is a remodel of an existing single family home. The goals that were given to the architects, Studio 2G Architects of San Luis Obispo, were to keep the design very simple with ‘mid-century modern touches’. — Architecture of the Central Coast
